The memorial features a Celtic cross with a raised interlaced pattern. The rectangular panelled shaft is set on a two-tiered base, which is surrounded by a kerb with shallow square caps at each corner. The east face of the memorial has the inscription ‘TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD’ at the bottom of the shaft, while the higher base reads ‘AND IN/ PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY/ OF THOSE WHO DIED FOR THEIR/ COUNTRY IN THE/ GREAT WAR 1914-1919’. The names of the fallen are inscribed on the lower base. The west side of the lower base states ‘ERECTED BY SUBSCRIPTION, NOVEMBER 1919’, and the higher base includes the inscription ‘SECOND WORLD WAR/ 1939-1945’ along with the names of those who fell in that conflict.
