Description

No. 16 High Street is a house dated 1708, constructed from coursed rubble and topped with a new tiled roof. It has two storeys and features a four-unit plan with a single bay to the left of the doorway. On either side of the door are sash windows with wide margin lights, while the three windows to the right and all upper windows are casements, each with chamfered timber lintels. At the rear, there is a baffle entry leading to back-to-back inglenooks, and on each floor, there are two 2-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows.
