Description
No. 25 High Street is a house built in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has one and a half storeys and presents a single bay to the street, with a long wing extending behind. The street elevation includes a canted bay window on the ground floor and a half-timbered gable dormer above. The rear wing has a tall four-centred arched doorway and two casement windows with relieving arches, along with gabled dormers above. There is a projecting side wall stack to the left of the doorway. The rear wing may include elements from an earlier building, as indicated by a single light window with an ovolo moulded surround. This property is included for its group value with Nos. 19 to 23.
