Description

This is a milestone from the early 19th century, made of cast iron and painted white. It features raised lettering that is painted black. The milestone has a triangular shape, with the sides inscribed with "Uppingham" and "Wansford 14 miles." The top surface is chamfered to display the upper inscription, which reads "To Leicester 19 miles."
