Description

A row of three houses forming a single composition, dating to the early 19th century. Number 14 is built of rubble stone with an ashlar front, a Welsh slate roof, a wide coped gable, and a brick end stack. It is two storeys high and single-fronted, with a door to the right. It features a plinth band and a similar band between the storeys, topped by a cornice. A single 8/8 sash window is present on the first floor. A late 19th or early 20th century canted bay window, glazed with small margin lights below, has been added. The panelled door is set within a moulded architrave and is sheltered by a bracketed hood. Number 12 is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar dressings and has a 20th-century concrete-tile roof and rendered brick end stacks. It is two and a half storeys high and double-fronted, standing taller than the adjacent properties. A 20th-century door is centrally located within a gabled wooden trellis-work porch. 8/8 sashes are visible to the ground and first floors, with late 19th-century sashes in gabled dormers that break through the eaves. Number 10 is built of rubble stone with an ashlar front that has been raised to create an attic storey. It has a Welsh slate roof and a brick end stack. This property is two and a half storeys high and single-fronted, with a 20th-century door to the left. C20 glazing has been introduced to the original openings on the ground and first floors, and a gabled dormer, likely from the 20th century, sits above.
