Description

Wyville House is a town house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with stucco and ashlar dressings, topped with a hipped slate roof. The building features sill bands on each floor and wooden eaves with modillions. It stands three storeys high plus a basement and has a single bay. The central bow window extends the full height of the building and is adorned with three glazing bar sashes on each floor, all featuring brick flat arches. The windows on the second floor are smaller than those below. On the ground floor, to the right, there is a round-arched doorway that retains its original six-panel door and fanlight. In front of the bow window, there is a cast-iron area railing with a chamfered ashlar plinth.
