Description

This red brick vicarage and rectory was built around 1810 to 1814. It has painted ashlar dressings and a hipped slate roof with four ridge stacks. The building is symmetrical, with a three-story facade and a ten-window range of twelve-pane sash windows. Windows are recessed in the third and eighth bays, creating a tall, round-arched effect. The front entrance includes two fielded six-panel doors, each with a fanlight; the right-hand door is now sheltered by a late 19th century glazed porch and external corridor. Above the porch, there are further nine-pane sash windows.
