Description

The retaining wall and garden wall at St Mary's Vicarage and St Peter's Rectory were built around 1810 and 1890. They are constructed of coursed squared stone and brick, featuring ashlar dressings. The retaining wall has a battered design and is topped with a brick garden wall that has moulded coping. There is a rounded corner on the right side, and the structure is approximately 70 meters long. At the west end, the brick garden wall includes a panelled wooden garden gate framed by a Classical ashlar surround. This structure is included for its group value.
