Description

This is a town house, dating from around 1800, and later altered in the late 20th century. It is now used as offices. The building is constructed of red brick with painted ashlar dressings and has a concealed roof. It has an ashlar plinth and a wooden eaves cornice with modillions. The three-storey facade has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows per floor. The lower windows are renewed 12-pane sashes, each with a wedge lintel and keystone. Above these are three 9-pane sashes. The original wooden doorcase features an entablature supported on shaped brackets, and contains a fielded 6-panel door and overlight. Flanking the main entrance are further 12-pane sashes. Replica lead downpipes run down the facade.
