2 houses, now shop. Early C16 and C17, refronted early C19 and altered late C20. Painted brick cladding concealing substantial remains of timber framing. Slate roof. 3 storeys; 2 window range. Ground floor has late C20 shopfront with central doorway and rusticated ashlar pilasters. Upper floors have 2 glazing bar sashes with wedge lintels and double keystones, the upper windows smaller. INTERIOR has on the ground floor, to left, a moulded span beam with stops, and exposed joists. Right bay has a plain span beam with mortices, a stud wall of reused timber, and a C17 framed wall panel. In the centre of the first floor, 2 bay posts with empty mortices, beam and stud wall. Stud side wall with rendered nogging to left.
