Office building and attached balustrade. 1872. By Evans & Jolley of Nottingham. Late C20 alterations. Ashlar, with pink granite dressings to ground floor, and slate mansard roof with 2 stylised gable stacks behind modillion cornice and balustrade. Italian Renaissance style. 3 storeys plus attics; 5 window range, each with a balcony, order and pediment. Above, 5 plain sashes, and above again, 3 pedimented dormers. Ground floor has 3 round-arched margin glazed windows, flanked by pedimented doorcases with Corinthian columns on pedestals, the right one with panelled double doors.
