Description
Wilderslowe House is a former villa built around 1840 in a Classical style. It is constructed from ashlar and has two storeys. The building features three bays, with the central bay slightly projecting and topped with a cornice and open balustrade. There are seven sash windows, with the windows in the centre and left-hand wings being tripartite and without glazing bars. The right-hand wing includes a central doorway that has a traceried fanlight, an eight-panelled divided door, and an Ionic column portico with a plain frieze, cornice, and blocking course. Each wing has panelled pilasters on the sides, and there is a band around the building. The ground storey windows of the two left-hand blocks have cornices supported by consoles. The house is capped with stone stacks and has a hipped slate roof.
