Description

Circa 1860. 2-storey astylar classical villa. 3-bay with

single set-back additional E entrance bay. Painted

ashlar. Sash and case windows in architraves, some

4-pane glazing.

MAIN ELEVATION: ground floor windows raked architraves,

boldly projecting blind boxes with pendants. 1st floor

windows with corbelled cills. Projecting single storey

entrance in re-entrant angle. Architraved doorway,

pedimented with dentil band; flanking piers, blocking

course. Bipartite window to right. 1st floor set-back,

bipartite window. Canted ground floor window to E

return. Axial and modillion corniced wallhead stacks.

Slate roof, boldly projecting eaves.

W RETURN: 1st bay repeats main elevation. Diminutive 1st

floor window with lugged cills in 2nd bay.
