Description
The Florence Nightingale Statue, completed in 1914, is a conventional stone statue created by Countess Feodora Gleichen, who was related to Queen Victoria and was the first woman member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. The statue is positioned on a pedestal at the center of a concave stone bay, located in front of the grounds of the Derby Royal Infirmary.
