Description

This is a long, narrow 17th-century house with an 18th-century extension to the south, currently used as a garage and storeroom. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone, with the north-west front and north-east end pebbledashed and painted. It features stone flagged roofs and has had garage doors inserted. The original house retains stone mullioned windows, some of which are fixed with old-style glass that includes leading, although some mullions are missing. There are steps leading up to an inserted door on the gable end. Inside, the roof has king post trusses with one level of trenched purlins that overlap with the ridge piece, and later collars have been added.
