Description

The gate piers and gates located to the west of the Church of St Helen were built in the late 19th century. They feature square piers adorned with cusped panels and topped with gabled roofs. The central entrance has double wrought iron gates, while there are single side gates, all designed in a flamboyant style with Art Nouveau heart shapes. Above the central gate, there is an overthrow that includes scrolled leaf decoration and a lampholder.
