Description

SE21SE WEST BRETTON PARK ROAD (north side, off)

8/79 Town Well approx. 25 - metres east of eastern range of farm buildings at Home Farm and approx 25 metres north of road.

GV II

Well head. Dated 1742. Ashlar with brick vaulted roof. Rectangular plan. Classical style. Simple gabled front with central doorway which has dated lintel. Moulded coping. Low, coursed stone sides form a low parapet behind which is the brick vaulting.
