3/13 Gatepiers to former Kippax Park between Nos 38 and 40

GV II

Gatepiers and attached screen walls at entrance to former Kippax park. C18. Magnesian limestone ashlar. Piers of square section and approx. 3 metres high, rusticated, with moulded caps and ball finials. Continued from the outer side of each is a short screen wall, abutting the adjoining properties. [Gates missing, and entrance now (1986) partly blocked with stone all and a small wooden gate which are not included in the item].
