Gatepiers, mid/late C18, restored late C19 and 1978. Sandstone ashlar. Each has chamfered-rusticated shaft, moulded plinth and renewed moulded cornice with ball final on ogee stem and square base. Inverted volute at head of inner face of each shaft. At entrance to drive of former Kirkleatham Hall, demolished 1955. Gate destroyed c.1970. Boundary wall adjoining, to north and south, is not of special interest. Included for group value.
