Description

This is a pair of gate-piers and an attached garden wall located approximately 50 metres east of High Hall in Kirkbymoorside. They date from the late 17th century and are constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar coping. The gate-piers are square in shape, standing about 4 metres high on high, moulded plinths. Each pier features a cornice, stepped pyramidal caps, and ball finials.
