MILEPOST AT SE 428 299

This milepost, located on Barnsdale Road in Kippax, is likely from the mid-19th century. It is made of stone and features cast-iron plates. The stone post has a triangular shape with a flat semicircular head. Cast-iron plates with raised lettering are bolted onto the head and both outer faces.
