Description

Wharf Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a restoration completed in the late 20th century. It is constructed of rendered stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three first-floor windows, with a single-storey porch outshut that projects to the right. The windows include single- and two-light designs with stone mullions and restored sash frames. There is a banded stack on the left and a brick ridge stack positioned left of centre. The restoration work involved the removal of a small 19th-century shop window that had console brackets and gable copings. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
