The cottage has two storeys and a symmetrical five-bay front. There is a doorway with an attached single-storey gabled open porch, which was added in the mid-20th century. Each bay has square windows with plain stone surrounds, although the glazing has been altered. The building has two gable stacks and is listed for its group value.
