Description
Nos. 214 and 216 on Harrogate Road are two houses that were originally built in the early 19th century and have been altered in the 20th century. The exterior is made of coursed squared gritstone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. There is a central panelled door with a fanlight set in a round-arched double recess, which includes a keystone and impost blocks. On the left side, there are four-pane sash windows on the first floor, all with a continuous sill band and stone lintels. The window on the ground floor to the right has been changed into a doorway, which now has a 20th-century glazed porch. The building has banded end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
