Description

Nos. 7 and 9 on Bath Road are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble with dressed quoins on the left side and feature a pantile roof with brick end ridge stacks. The houses are symmetrical, each having two storeys and two bays. On the left, there are sash windows with glazing bars set in plain dressed stone surrounds, while on the right, there are 20th-century casements in similar surrounds. The door openings are centrally located and have plain stone surrounds; number 7 has a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and number 9 has a 20th-century half-glazed door. Each house is accessed by a flight of three stone steps.
