Description
Turnley House is an early 19th-century house that was altered around 1900. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three windows on the first floor. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with an overlight that has glazing bars arranged in a pattern of linked circles. This entrance is framed by a Greek Revival surround, which includes wide grooved pilasters and a shallow pediment.
To the left, there is a bay window added around 1900, while to the right, there is a sash window with margin lights. The first floor has two light casements, and small brackets support the sills. The gable coping is located on the right side, and the roof is continuous with the adjacent properties at Nos 204 and 206, which are of a similar age. A tall corniced stack is positioned on the left side of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
