Description
Nos. 204 and 206 on Harrogate Road are two terrace houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and topped with a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high and form a matching pair, each featuring an entrance on the right side and two first-floor windows. The entrances have panelled doors with overlights that include glazing bars arranged in linked circles, framed by Greek Revival surrounds with grooved pilasters. No. 204 has a cornice and blocking course with acroteria, while No. 206 features a shallow pediment. Both houses have sash windows with glazing bars that create margin panes, and plain stone sills supported by small brackets. The ground floors are adorned with stone hoods on console brackets. Each house has tall, corniced chimney stacks located to the left, positioned forward and rear of the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
