Description

A pair of early 19th-century terrace houses located on Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds. The houses are built of coursed squared gritstone with a slate roof. They present as a mirror pair, each with two windows to the first floor and a central door. A straight joint clearly defines the boundary between the two houses. Each house has a panelled door surmounted by a fanlight with glazing bars, set within a keyed stone arch featuring impost blocks in double recesses. The windows are four-pane sashes with stone sills and lintels, and a continuous band runs along the first floor. Chimneys are located at the ends of the houses. The interior has not been inspected.
