Description
The lych gate to the Church of St John the Evangelist, dated 1913, is constructed from ashlar and timber-frame materials. It features a low wall that supports a wallplate, with a framework of vertical posts. The corner posts are adorned with chamfered brackets. The structure has a flat arch with studding in the gable, along with carved barge-boards and a pendant at the apex. Inside, on the northern wall, there is a carved plaque that commemorates the donor.
