Description
Moss Hall is a house dated 1583, with a 20th-century addition on the left and some restoration work. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and has a blue slate roof. The building has two storeys and features five windows. The quoins are prominent, and there is a blocked original doorway on the left, with a modern entrance inserted to the right of the centre. The windows have moulded and chamfered reveals, but all the original mullions have been removed and replaced with modern casements. The house has moulded end stacks. There is a datestone that is reputed to have the letters 'RC'. The interior has not been inspected.
