TOWN GATE (Upperthong) No 12

GV II

Formerly two dwellings. Predominantly early to mid C19, though one early C18 window. Deeply coursed millstone grit. Stone slate roof. Two storeys.

South elevation: near central doorway. Earlier doorway to left is blocked. One three-light stone mullioned window with raised sill (possibly more recent). To right is four-light double chamfered stone mullioned window (one mullion removed). To first floor are four single light windows.

North elevation: modernised.
