Description
Waterside is a pair of dwellings from the early 18th century that have undergone significant alterations. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and feature a stone slate roof. A large central ashlar chimney stack with a small cornice is prominent. The structure has two storeys. The original doorway is partially blocked and framed with quoins and a very deep arched lintel. There are two 19th-century doorways present. The front elevation includes three 3-light double chamfered stone mullioned windows, although some mullions have been removed from the left and right windows. On the first floor, there are two central sash windows that extend above the eaves level, with one 3-light double chamfered window on each side, both of which have all mullions removed. Additionally, there is a 2-light double chamfered window at the rear. A two-storey addition at the rear is not included in this listing. The right gable features one 3-light double chamfered window on the first floor.
