Description
Bridge Tavern is a former building that was originally two or three dwellings, dating from 1809, with a part to the right that is slightly later. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof with moulded stone brackets. The building has three storeys. On the south-east elevation, the first and second floors have four bays, which include three 3-light stone mullioned windows and one 2-light window, although one of the latter is blocked. The ground floor windows have modern bow windows, with two near the central entrance, one of which is part blocked by a modern bow window. A datestone marked "BG 1809" is located at the second floor level.
