Description
Netherley House is a large detached residence built in the mid to late 19th century. It features hammer-dressed stone with an ashlar facade and a hipped slate roof, which is conical at the southeast wing. The house has three ashlar chimney stacks and a moulded eaves cornice on the northeast and southwest sides, adorned with square pilasters and capitals, along with a full entablature and blocking course. On the ground floor, there are sash windows on each side, while the first floor has three sash windows. To the left, there is a bow window with four sashes on each floor. The windows are complemented by recessed ashlar panels below the sills. The conical roof of the bow is topped with a decorative wrought iron weather vane.
