Description

Cosy Nook Farmhouse is a 18th-century building located on Reap Hirst Road in Birkby. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The farmhouse has two storeys, with four 2-light casement windows on the first floor, along with a small round-arched window that has a keystone and impost blocks. On the ground floor, there is one 3-light casement and two 2-light casements, as well as a door with four sunk panels. To the east of the farmhouse is a barn, which includes a one-storey stable extension on its south side. A plaque on the building is inscribed with "T S C 1763".
