Description

Middle Burn Farmhouse is an 18th-century building located on Reap Hirst Road in Birchencliffe. The farmhouse features a rendered exterior and a pitched stone slate roof, with a coped gable supported by cut kneelers. It stands two storeys tall, with the first floor displaying two three-light and three two-light stone mullioned windows, although the mullions have been removed. On the ground floor, there are two four-light and one two-light stone mullioned windows, with all but one mullion removed from the four-light windows. Additionally, a barn was added later, which is dated 1798 and includes a range of modern casement windows.
