Description

The coachhouse range to the west of the stables at Fixby Hall dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone and features a hipped roof made of stone slates. The building is one storey high with an attic. It has a moulded cornice, and the central section projects forward, topped with a parapet that has four ball finials. There are three arched openings with moulded voussoirs and continuous plain imposts. Various planked doors are located to the left and right of the central section.
