Description

This listing describes numbers 2, 4, and 6 Radcliffe Road in Lower Wellhouse, Golcar, a group of three identical terraced houses built around 1840. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched roof of stone slate. Stone brackets support the guttering. The south elevation of each house has a ground floor entrance with stone surrounds and tie stones, alongside a four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor features a seven-light stone mullioned window. Number 6 has a large lintel made of millstone grit displaying the date 1666.
