Description

Nos. 70 and 72 Well House Green are a pair of early to mid 19th century weavers' houses. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof with a large central chimney stack. The buildings have water tabling and stand two storeys tall, with the ground floor set back to the earth. The south elevation includes two entrances with stone surrounds and tie-stones on the ground floor, along with two 3-light stone mullioned windows. On the first floor, there are two 5-light stone mullioned windows.
