Description

Upper Rocher Farm is a mid to late 18th century former farmhouse constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and a rough plinth. It features a pitched stone slate roof and stands two storeys tall.

On the south elevation, the ground floor has an entrance with a deep lintel and stone surround, alongside a 6-light stone mullioned window that is recessed and has a King mullion, although two of its mullions have been removed. There are also two 2-light stone mullioned windows, one of which has had its mullion removed, and another that is double chamfered with its mullion also removed. The first floor contains two 3-light stone mullioned windows, with one having one mullion removed. Additionally, a former slight stone mullioned window has been completely altered to serve as a pigeon loft, and there is another 2-light stone mullioned window, which has had its mullion removed and now functions as a pigeon loft.

The west gable features a single light window on the ground floor that is recessed with a stone surround, and a 3-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, also recessed. The north elevation has a doorway with quoins, chamfered reveals, and a pointed lintel with a Tudor arch on the ground floor, along with a recessed 2-light stone mullioned window and a single light window with a stone surround. On the first floor, there are two 2-light stone mullioned windows.

The east gable includes a ground floor 2-light stone mullioned window that is chamfered and recessed, with its mullion removed, and another 2-light stone mullioned window that also has had its mullion removed. The first floor features a 6-light stone mullioned window, from which four mullions have been removed.
