Description
Warehouse buildings, dating to circa 1870. They are constructed of dressed stone with ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins, and have a slate roof with a moulded eaves cornice incorporating console brackets and a blocking course. The buildings are three storeys high, featuring a cornice to the ground floor and a sill band to the second floor. The symmetrical facade has eight bays, with the central two bays projecting forward to create a round arched carriage entrance flanked by paired windows on the first and second floors. The three bays to the left and right each have a central doorway with a panelled double door, a tapered pilaster surround, and a round false arched head ornamented with vermiculated spandrels and a dropped keystone. Round arched windows are positioned on either side of the doorways, with architraves and deep keystones. The first-floor windows have architraves, dropped keystones, and cornices. The second-floor windows are square headed with shouldered surrounds.
The carriage entrance leads to a small courtyard, with round arched entrances, loading doors, and industrial casements on either side.
