Description
41 Bradford Road is a three-storey and basement rag and wool warehouse built around 1880. It features rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The building has a plinth and a moulded eaves band.
The street front has three windows. The ground floor showcases three tall round-headed arches that connect to an impost band and keystones. The central arch contains a segment-headed doorway with double panel doors and a plain overlight, flanked by lower segment-headed basement doorways, each with a round-headed plain sash above. Above this, there are three segment-headed plain sashes set in moulded ashlar surrounds, linked by a cill band. On the top floor, there are three smaller similar windows with bracketed cills.
The left side of the building has seven windows arranged in a 1:6 pattern. To the left, there are taking-in doors on each floor. The basement has four segment-headed openings, and to the right, there are two tall round-headed openings spanning the ground floor, one containing a doorway and the other a basement door with a sash above. Above these, there are four round-headed sashes, followed by six segment-headed sashes. The top floor features a single sash and five blocked windows.
