Description
No. 150 Bradford Road is a mid-19th century rag and wool warehouse with minor 20th-century alterations. It is built of dressed stone with ashlar dressings and has Welsh slate roofs. The building is three storeys high and features a plinth and sill bands on the first and second floors.
The street-facing side has 12 windows and is topped by a central pediment. The ground floor includes raised quoins and features two plain sash windows with rusticated voussoirs and panelled aprons at the centre, flanked by single doors that have moulded ashlar surrounds with pilasters and flat hoods, as well as panel doors and overlights. On either side of the central section, there are two similar windows followed by single similar doors and single windows beyond.
Above the ground floor, there are 12 plain sash windows with rusticated voussoirs, and above those, there are 12 slightly smaller windows with similar lintels. The rear facade contains 11 windows and is topped with two pedimented gables on the right. There are sets of taking-in doors on each floor at the first, seventh, and tenth windows, while the remaining windows are mostly from the 20th century and feature glazing bars.
