Description
No. 128 on Bradford Road is a rag and wool warehouse built in 1861. It features rock-faced stone construction with ashlar dressings and a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has four storeys plus a basement, with a street front that includes three windows. The facade is characterized by triple arches with panel pilasters and moulded heads, all supported on a rusticated plinth.
The central round-headed doorway has double panel doors and a circular overlight, flanked by single segment-headed basement openings with railings. Above, there are pairs of round-headed windows with dividing columns and roundels. The upper levels feature three round-headed windows in mould surrounds with a continuous moulded sill, followed by three slightly plainer round-headed windows, and then three flat-headed windows.
On the left return, there are seven flat-headed windows on each floor, which diminish in height. The goods facade to the left includes three windows, with central taking-in doors on each floor topped by a projecting gable and a circular roundel inscribed with the year 1863. Single flat-headed windows are located on either side of these doors on each floor.
