Description
No. 25 Bradford Road is a rag warehouse built around 1860. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The building has rusticated quoins, a moulded plinth, and a cornice. The east front is three storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a segment-headed doorway with double panel doors. On either side of the doorway are single round-headed windows with moulded surrounds and keystones, which are now boarded up. The first and second floors are identical, each with central hoist doorways that have been converted into windows, flanked by segment-headed glazing bar sashes in moulded surrounds with keystones. Above these is a dentilated eaves cornice. The rear, or west front, is four storeys high and has three bays, with three windows on each floor; the upper part has been partly rebuilt in brick.
