Description
No. 152 Bradford Road is a rag and wool warehouse built around 1840. It is constructed from dressed stone with ashlar dressings and features hipped Welsh slate roofs. The building has a single stone stack, a plinth, quoins, sill bands on each floor, and moulded eaves. It stands four storeys tall and has eight windows on the street front. The central doorway is framed with painted ashlar and has a flat hood, leading to a four-panel door with an overlight. To the left of the doorway are four plain sash windows, and to the right are three similar sash windows. Above, there are eight plain sash windows with wedge lintels, followed by another eight similar windows, and then eight smaller similar windows at the top. The rear facade features seven windows, a central boarded window, and a side door with three windows to the left and one window to the right. The upper floors have central taking-in doors, with the first floor having two flanking windows, while the second and third floors each have three flanking windows with original glazing bars.
