Description
43-45 Bradford Road is a rag and wool warehouse built around 1880. It is constructed from pock faced stone with ashlar dressings and features hipped Welsh slate roofs. The building has a single stone stack, a plinth, and a bracketed eaves band. It stands three storeys tall.
The street front has five windows arranged in a pattern of 1:3:1. The central section features a triple arched window with three round headed sashes, a continuous bracketed sill band, moulded imposts, and roll moulded arches with roundels. On either side, there are single tall round headed doorways, each with double panel doors and a fanlight in a roll moulded surround with a bracketed keystone. Above these doorways are five round headed sash windows with a continuous sill band. On the top storey, there are five flat headed sash windows with a continuous sill band and moulded hoods.
