Warehouse, now shop. c1870. Limestone ashlar, brick and render, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and basement; 7-window range. A regular ashlar front has a semicircular-arched arcade on a plinth, rising to the left on the falling ground, with ground-floor crocket impost band and hoodmould, first-floor windows with impost band and raised surrounds, with a coped parapet; rendered left-hand window and beneath the ground-floor window cills. Metal-framed windows with glazing bars. Left-hand brick return has 2 shallow gables, with large metal-framed windows between the floors. Continuous moulded sill with coped parapet. INTERIOR: central spine window and right-hand dogleg stair. HISTORICAL NOTE: advanced use of glazing for the period.
