Description
No. 22 Regent Street is an attached house that has been converted into a shop. It was built in the early to mid-19th century and features a limestone ashlar exterior, party wall stacks, and a pantile mansard roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with an attic, displaying a three-window range. The shop front was added in the 20th century. Architectural details include a plat band and pilasters supporting an overlapping cornice and parapet. The windows are 6/6-pane sashes, with dormers and cast-iron basket balconies on the second floor. The first floor has paired windows, along with a lower cornice and parapet. There is a doorway on the right-hand side. The interior has not been inspected.
