Description

The 7½ Miles Post between Meal Hill Lane and Foster Place Lane is a mile post dating from the late 19th century. It features a cast iron triangular front with a rounded top mounted on a stone post. The inscription reads: "NEW MILL DISTRICT ROAD HEPWORTH SHEFFIELD HUDDERSFIELD 19 MILES 7½ MILES."
